Aireforge Estate

The Estate tab in Aireforge Studio provides a centralized interface to manage all your SQL Server instances, allowing you to organize your servers into easy-to-use groups. This interface is particularly useful for users managing large estates, offering multiple methods to import and discover servers, as well as manage remote connections.

Key Features

Centralized Management

Easily view and manage your entire SQL Server estate from one place. The Estate tab allows you to track SQL versions, types, and add custom fields for additional metadata such as documentation links or server-specific notes. This gives you complete visibility over your environment.

Server Organization

Organize your servers with Tags or into custom groups like Production, Development, or Staging. Use Bookmarks to quickly access frequently managed servers.

Import and Discover Servers

Whether you're manually adding servers or automating the discovery process, the Estate tab simplifies the process by offering several options for importing your server details, including CSV files, SSMS Registered Servers, and SQL Browser.

Remote Management (RDP/SSMS)

The Estate module also integrates with your remote management tools, enabling you to launch RDP or SSMS directly from the interface, speeding up troubleshooting and server administration.

Custom Fields

Define up to 10 custom fields for each server to store additional data such as links to external documentation, SLAs, or any other useful information. These fields can be easily managed from the server properties menu and are shared across profiles if you're using Shared Profiles.

Shared Profiles

When using Shared Profiles, the entire Estate view is shared with your team. This ensures that everyone has access to the same up-to-date information about the servers, notes, and tags.
