Estate

The Estate tab is where Aireforge Studio keeps every server you manage. Add servers one at a time or in bulk, organise them, and connect to them without leaving the tab.

Organising servers

Servers are organised with tags, not groups or folders: there is no separate group object. A tag is a name, a colour and, optionally, child tags, so tags can be nested, for example a Production tag with Production-US and Production-EU underneath it. Tag a server from the add or amend server dialog, or drag it onto a tag in the tree and choose whether to replace its tags or add to them. The estate tree lists All Database Servers, then untagged servers, then the tag hierarchy, so a server with more than one tag appears under each. See Tag management.

Custom fields

Each server can carry up to 10 custom fields. Field names are defined once for the profile; the values are free text, set per server, and there is no numeric, date or list type. Reach them from the Custom fields button in the Advanced settings dialog when adding or amending a server.
